These terms govern your use of Scopewise, a tool for organizing home project scope and comparing contractor-provided bid information.
Using Scopewise
You may use Scopewise for lawful homeowner project planning. You are responsible for the information you add, the people you invite, and decisions you make using the service. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share or use the service to harm, mislead, or impersonate another person.
What Scopewise does—and does not do
Scopewise helps organize project details and highlight differences in how bids describe work. It does not determine contractor honesty, verify contractor qualifications, guarantee price fairness, select a contractor, or provide legal, engineering, architectural, permitting, inspection, or construction advice. Consult qualified professionals before making consequential project or contract decisions.
Contractor-provided information
Contractor responses and bid details are supplied by you or the contractor. You are responsible for reviewing the original proposal, asking follow-up questions, and confirming the final written scope, price, schedule, permits, insurance, warranty, and contract terms.
Purchases
Paid options are offered through hosted MadeThis checkout. Any purchase is subject to the checkout terms and information presented to you at the time of purchase. We do not process card payments directly in Scopewise.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Scopewise as the service develops. We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
